Our class is continuing to work on comparing and ordering numbers. Today we played a game called Order Up! The objective of the game was for the children to work in a group and organize numbers on cards. They had to listen hard and follow directions because sometimes I expected them to order the numbers from greatest to least, while other times I wanted the numbers to be lined up from least to greatest. We enjoyed working together and practicing this concept. We also practiced by reviewing on one of my favorite websites called IXL. Our class was able to look on the projector as we compared numbers using our greater than (>), less than (<), and equal (=) symbols. I encourage you to have your child practice this concept at home on this website whenever possible. Stay tuned for more fun learning taking place in our classroom!
